Hi I’m Marc Viau and welcome to Wildlife Pit Blinds . I’m the youngest son of Roger Viau. I was born and raised in Cornwall when I was young. Seeing my Dad hunt ducks through the years, I quickly learned the facts of being a successful hunter. I married the love of my life Tammy and not long after, we moved to Ingleside. I’ve been married for 19 years and we have three children: Daniel my oldest son (16 years old) who loves to hunt, Mathieu (14 years old) still learning the ropes of hunting, and my daughter Chloe (10 years old) well she loves to shop! I worked as a sheet metal worker for a local company for 10 years and then moved on to establish my own company. Marc Viau Mechanical Inc. has been successful for 14 years and is still growing.

I started hunting with my dad at the age of 15 and that was the best adrenaline rush I ever had. Everyone still remembers their first hunt. Right then, I knew I could share the ultimate experience in wild waterfowl hunting. I started hunting geese at the age of 16 and still to this day, I love the day-to-day adrenaline rush on these big birds. I started with the olts 22 goose call in the early 80s, and not long after I went from the olt 22 to the olt 800 and to the new customized goose flute called the olt 50. I use the Tim grounds flute call and now the Foiles Strait Meat Honkers. I have great success with these and love to see the birds work when we call. I’ve experienced a lot through the 26 years, fabricating my own big foot decoys, using stuffers, kites, blinds, and even motion decoys. We take pride in what we do. Fence blinds are great and we normally all hunt together for maximum enjoyment. Later in the season, we take our eliminator blinds out and that is the ultimate hunt you can ever experience.
